PS&R completed detailed boring logs for the geotechnical investigation of the soldier pile and lagging retaining wall as well as the roadway realignment. Upon completion of the geotechnical investigation, a report was prepared addressing the Soils/Geological/Hydrological settings, stability analysis and design parameters for the wall including the evaluation of landslide hazards/ oversteepened slope conditions and slope reconstruction recommendations. In addition, construction drawings were prepared detailing the roadway alignment for William Penn Highway and realignment of a 1300 lineal foot section of Cavitt Road. During the construction process, PS&R monitored all of the construction activities including the earthwork, subgrade preparation, guiderail installation, utility installation and relocation, and asphalt placement.
